Cowboys Emerge as ‘Sleeper’ to Trade for 3-Time Pro Bowl Playmaker: Insider

Dallas Cowboys rumours are heating up as NFL speculation continues to link the team with Tennessee Titans star Derrick Henry.

Tony Pauline of Sportskeeda's NFL insider labelled the Cowboys as a sleeper team to trade for Henry.

If the Titans are ready to eat some of Henry's contract, Dallas' chances of negotiating a deal improve.

"The Dallas Cowboys are the sleeper team expected to be in the market for Henry," Pauline wrote on October 26, 2023.

"The belief from many is Henry could end up in the NFC East with the Cowboys if Tennessee is willing to eat some of the money remaining on Henry's contract, estimated to be around $9 million.

"The Cowboys' depth chart is led by Tony Pollard, a player they franchised after releasing Ezekiel Elliott in March."

Henry's powerful running style is thought to be the ideal complement to Pollard's big-play skills as a ball carrier and pass catcher."

Owner Jerry Jones stated last season, ahead of the NFL trade deadline, that the organisation was interested in making substantial deals.
