Creamy Tomato Gnocchi with Burrata

This simple 20-minute Creamy Tomato Gnocchi recipe features a vivid tomato garlic sauce blended with cream, fresh basil, and gnocchi, topped with fresh burrata cheese. A simple, quick, and flavorful dinner!

Oh, how I love gnocchi. When we were in Boston visiting our daughter and husband, I bought freshly baked gnocchi in the North End and was ecstatic.

When you combine soft, pillowy, melt-in-your-mouth gnocchi with a luscious tomato cream sauce, you get the ideal quick pasta dish.

My favorite gnocchi recipes include Creamy Chicken Gnocchi Soup, Bacon Cheddar Gnocchi Soup, and Gnocchi with Brown Butter, Crispy Pancetta, and Sage.

Gnocchi, a classic Italian dumpling, has a soft, pillowy texture that complements a delectable, velvety creamy tomato sauce topped with burrata or mozzarella cheese.

Extra-Virgin Olive Oil: This is the sauce's basis, and it is used to sauté the garlic. I recommend using high-quality olive oil, if feasible.

Garlic: This recipe calls for a lot of garlic, so finely cut it. I adore using this simple hand chopper to chop my garlic.

Whole Canned Tomatoes: Use high-quality whole tomatoes for this sauce. I like San Marzano canned tomatoes because they have greater flavor, texture, and freshness. I've discovered that Trader Joe's usually has the greatest prices.
