Easy Dairy-Free Pizza with Arugula

This simple dairy-free pizza dish may be one of my best creations ever. It's difficult to beat when topped with caramelized onions, sautéed mushrooms, and fig jam!

Pizza is great all year, but it's especially good during football season and the Super Bowl. Make this fresh pizza in the spring or summer to take use of the fresh veggies!

Or set up your own pizza bar...everyone enjoys pizza night at my place. Homemade vegan cheese sauce is something I enjoy...

try this traditional vegan mac & cheese, these butternut squash nachos, or this nutritious white bean alfredo sauce.

– vegan mozzarella (Miyoko's is great) or other dairy free cheese – coconut milk – flour – vegan butter (Miyoko's again...can you tell I'm a fan?) – salt

– arugula – mushroom – onion – soy sauce – fig jam – grapeseed oil – salt

Sally's Baking Addiction recommends a basic 6-ingredient pizza crust, but you may use any vegan dough you choose. Some grocery stores sell fresh pizza dough balls, which make it very simple! Don't forget the warm water; it is critical.

First, prep the dough so it has time to rise. Don't forget to cover the large bowl with plastic wrap or a kitchen towel. If you're using store-bought dough, skip this step.
