Green Protein Smoothie

This green protein smoothie is packed with spinach, banana, and vanilla protein powder, making it the ideal healthy breakfast or post-workout snack! Bonus: it's vegan and dairy-free!

Do you get into "smoothie modes"? I become hooked on smoothies for a while and then forget about them for some reason.

It is an eternal circle! I'm quite excited about this green protein smoothie, which has become my go-to for breakfast and snacks.

Make sure to use a frozen banana for a delicious smoothie! If you don't like bananas, I have some suggestions for you below.

Vanilla protein powder: Nuzest is my favorite protein powder. Use coupon eatingbirdfood to get 15% off your order!

Milk - I used unsweetened vanilla almond milk, but any milk will work! This is how you make homemade almond milk.

Baby spinach is a very light leafy green, so you'll get the benefits of the greens without the harsh flavor! Chia seeds offer nutritious fat and fiber to the smoothie.

It does not get much easier than this! Place all of the ingredients in a high-powered blender and blend until smooth. If you only have a conventional blender, I recommend blending the milk and spinach first to ensure there are no spinach flakes remaining!
